We decided to use this sticky post here to introduce the website and explain a bit of what you may find as your browse the site. As the name implies, this site is all about how to scrap a car, and hopefully how you can do it to get a little bit of extra cash. It is quite easy to do in most states, and the good news is that if you were wondering if your old clunker is worth some cash at the scrap yard, we have hopefully done some work to make it easier for you to find out!
As you can see here, we are still getting set up, but you can count on more information coming to help save you a ton of time and get you headed in the right direction.
As with anything you find online, you need to be aware of the state and county laws and regulations as they apply to scrapping and junking your cars to ensure that you are within local guidelines.
This site is a compilation of information that we have worked hard to find and put all in one location to make your process that much easier.
